Reference Guide: Symbolism

Symbolism, Terminology and Practices

This section provides a brief overview to some of the questions that arise on the journey of self-development. In my own efforts to understand the terms, beliefs, practices and symbolism that I encountered I began piecing together fragments through research, yet as I progressed, I realised I could just ask directly and receive clear answers. We also learn by trial and error – as anything enters our direct experience we can find our own interpretations.

There are so many paths, systems, approaches, opinions and differing views – through keeping an open mind and using our own 'emotional guidance system' we can discern or 'feel' our truth when it resonates with us on a deeper level. Thank you to all the sources that have contributed to this compilation and assisted in providing a starting point for further explorations, highlighting and demonstrating the interconnections between all things.
