Dimensions of Self
We must become the ideal that we are looking for, and we must recognise that we are the perfection that we seek in others. Every part of us, if we accept it, is perfect, for it is nothing but a part of the whole of the Universe seeking to know itself through us – as its Child – as its very own substance.
A Child of the Universe. The offspring of a very powerful All-Knowing-Being that encompasses more that everything we will ever know. Not part of us – we are part of it. Formed from the same fusion of elements; woven from the same cloth. Part of the Fabric of the Ages, and spun with the stardust that surrounds us.
The same cellular structure, infused with the same life-affirming energy that permeates all things – that is all things. Call it what we will – Universal Intelligence, the God Force or Source Of Creation, the Greater Good, the All-Powerful Almighty One – all we know is the feeling that there must be something more, or bigger than what we perceive to be the ‘sum of us’ – because we feel it is so.
We want to believe it as much as we want to disbelieve it. But where we struggle is when we try and put a name to it. To patent our particular viewpoint or understanding of the nature of it, and our relationship to it, as we see it from our own experience – which might only add up to what we have been told to expect.
