MessagesThe Language of the Birds
The green language – the ‘langue verte’ – tongue of the feathered ones, or those who hold the secrets of the arcane arts. The messengers that govern the alchemical journey of transformation and transmutation of all that holds us bound, and therefore inhibits flight. For when we are attached to fixed notions of who we are and how life works we also become stuck in a quagmire – firm convictions only serve to anchor us to the lower planes. The language that calls us home however, whispers through every leaf and bough. It knows us by name – by the many names that we have gathered on our long journey – taking up an earthly mantle each time we step into the physical plane, yet always retaining the pure essence that is the collective record or memory of all that we are in our totality. All that we have seen and experienced not forgotten; not in tangible or visible form, but stored and retained as energy – our invisible (or visible) field connecting to ever-greater universal fields of the same, the collected pool of universal wisdom. Where our own experience ends, and the collective continues, depends on how we have reached out and explored the realms around us. The overlap between our own knowing and greater knowing can reside close to our physical body or far beyond it, as we expend both our experience and our ‘light’ – our ability to hold and transmit, or resonate ever-increased levels of light. Thus becoming a divine light vehicle – a Merkaba (Merkabah) – a receptacle of the energetic vibrations of higher light frequencies that are, by nature, ‘lighter’ than ‘denser’ forms of matter. Mer-ka-ba – Mer: a sea of energy in the form (formless) of unconditional love; ka: our body double, all that we are in our eternal present form (formless); and ba: our eternal Soul Essence, the Divine Spark, the connection to All That Is, winged, able to access multiple dimensional realities (again formless if we are restricted by a third dimensional perception of our physical reality). The entire sum of us is not evident or able to be easily described by the vocabulary that we use to communicate, in whatever language we are familiar with. It is, by its very nature, all-encompassing, and can only be grasped or experienced intermittently as we receive signals; or flashes of knowing, or inspiration, or recognition. Déjà vu comes from this place. Past lives might flash before our eyes. Dreams emerge from the greater levels of consciousness that surround us and slip through the unconscious into our waking state, if we work with them or choose to recall them, taking the time to listen or to tune-in to our feelings and to ourselves. The language of the birds is the tongue that needs no voice to communicate but our own intuition. It is the wisdom that is ours already, collected in the framework of our entire being – as a being of light, first and foremost – anchored to a physical form yet infinitely vaster than its bounds. When we learn to listen and to tune-in to ourselves, we hear the gentle voice that reminds us to recall our own truth – to use our feelings as the guiding light that will illumine the path to greater understanding of all the wonderful dimensions of self, and beyond, as we expand our own awareness to encompass greater levels of universal awareness. From the hemisphere of personal concerns, to the multiple spheres of broader, vaster, selfless, life-governing laws or principles that hold the balance of all things and know only the power that unites. For ‘perfection itself’ is that which does not see itself as separate or alone, it exists in a state of complete harmony as it is – because it is – ‘being’, unselfconsciously, existing as an intelligent functioning whole, or Oneness, or however we might attempt to define it, or trademark it, or share our experience of it. The only way we can really come to terms with it (call it God if we will, or whatever resonates with our own guidance system and feels right to us) is to invite it into our lives. Whether we are a sceptic or an atheist, or firm believer, it makes no difference – for if we hold any preconceived idea or fixed ‘frame of reference’, its very nature will be veiled from us. The language of the birds is the language of the skies – we must open our eyes. Looking up and exclaiming in awe as we take in the vastness, the unimaginable open spaces that lie beyond our reach – beyond the metal birds we voyage in as travellers – we are drawn to discover the mysteries that are held above and beyond what we see in front of our noses. Look at the earth beneath our toes, and we see only what we know. Lift our heads high, and our spirits take flight – for openness is a state of mind. |
